Every month, we’ll be sharing a fresh lineup of our available cats, plus celebrating the lucky ones who found their forever homes! First up, we have our incredible Anakin, yes, like Anakin Skywalker. But don’t worry, our Anakin is still on the light side of the force. Anakin was trapped as a part of our local TNR project. After receiving his neuter surgery, his rescuer discovered something interesting. Anakin was not feral, but instead a completely socialized and loving kitty. He loves getting pets and is a foodie (same). Anakin is also very playful and loves to be around his humans. If you are looking for a sweet kitty that is ready for love, then Anakin might just be the one for you!

Now, meet our lovely Pepper. He is a sensitive and very soft boy who loves hanging out with his other cat mates. He also loves to spend time together in bed with his humans. Pepper was also born indoors to a pair of kitties that were never fixed. Our rescue stepped in and had everyone vetted and ready to find new homes. Pepper is the cutest, reach out if you’re interested!

Asher is a 4 month old playful and affectionate boy. He came into our foster program with his sister, who is now adopted. Reach out if you’re interested in adopting this cute baby! He deserves a chance just as much as his sister.

Riley is a 2-year-old tabby calico (tabico? caliby?) with a heart full of love and a story of resilience! Rescued from a hoarder’s home, where she lived among over 50 cats. Riley has come a long way in her journey toward trust and comfort. Described by her foster as “cautious but clingy,” Riley is a sweet girl who takes her time warming up to new people and environments. Riley’s affectionate side shines through—she loves to curl up near her favorite humans and soak up pets and attention. This beautiful girl has so much love to give, and she’s waiting for the right person to help her embrace her new life and give her all the love and attention she deserves. Adopting Riley means giving her the chance to leave her past behind and step into a future filled with comfort and affection.

Theodora is a sweet-natured lady who will steal your heart with her affectionate and playful personality. This gorgeous kitty is the complete package: she loves to cuddle, enjoys playtime, and has a gentle, loving spirit that makes her an ideal companion for any home. Theodora came to us as a surrender when her previous family, who adored her deeply, made the difficult decision to rehome her due to allergies. They want nothing but the best for her and know she deserves a loving forever home where she can thrive. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and utterly loving feline friend, Theodora is ready to fill your life with joy and purrs. Could you be the one to give this beautiful girl the happy ending she deserves? Theo was spayed, tested, and vaccinated by her owners in 2021. We will be updating her vaccines and getting her in for a physical so that she's ready for her new home.

Next up, we have Scarlet. A four month old kitten. She is an absolute black beauty, with her ebony fur that glistens in the sun. She is a fearless leader and always the first to explore new places, chase after toys, and climb to the highest perch. She’s bold, curious, and full of energy, but don’t worry—she’s got a soft side too. After a busy day of adventuring, she loves curling up in your lap for some well-deserved cuddles. She loves playing, whether it’s chasing around a feather toy or playing with a fellow cat friend. Scarlet would be a great, adventurous companion to adopt and capture your heart from the start!

Maddie, the very pretty Tabico, is sassy and a half. She's super sweet & loving when she wants something from you. She loves hanging out on her foster's bed and taking it over, sitting on her laptop because only she deserves attention, doing yoga with her every morning to stay fit and asking for snacks during sessions. She's so lucky to be this cute and adorable, and... We love everything about this pretty, sweet, crazy, sassy gal! Maddie was rescued in JC by the amazing Amanda Elizabeth of @jccat_watch where she was found stuck inside a hole that no one could figure out how to get her out of. ACO was called in and they couldn't get her, so out of fear that she would get hurt in the process, Amanda stepped in to try to get her. To her surprise, this sweet gal just walked right up to her. “Sweet Billu”, as her foster mom calls her, is ready for adoption. She is looking for a nice home with an experienced cat owner that understands cats well and their shenanigans.

Meet Pawline Grey, a gentle and loving cutie ready to find her forever home. With a heart of gold and a warm, affectionate nature, Pawline will steal your heart right away. Pawline lives with 3 young girls and their mom, she loves spending time with the girls and playing, while also being the purrfect Catpanion for mom. Pawline's journey started in a challenging environment, living in a hoarder house with her mom, who has now been adopted. Pawline gets along exceptionally well with other cats, making her a wonderful addition to a multi-cat household. She’ll quickly find her place and enjoy forming new feline friendships. Her sweet personality and submissive demeanor truly shines. You’ll soon find her happily snuggling on your bed at night. In perfect health and ready to start a new chapter, Pawline Grey is ready to give you lots of love and form a deep and meaningful bond. Meet Precious! This cutie has been awarded a discounted adoption fee granted by Kia Pet Adoption Grant! This grant allows us to lower our adoption fees for our non-kitten and longest residents in foster care. Because "They all Deserve a Home". He is our longest foster to date, and would love a place to welcome him as their own.

Calling all ACOTAR (A Court Of Thorns and Roses) fans. These three little tigers were rescued off the street in North Bergen at 6 weeks old and are fully vaccinated, dewormed and ready to go to their forever homes (with appointments for spay/neuter). They are super sweet and have been getting lots of love until they get adopted. You can adopt them together, or you can adopt one. Plus if you are a fan of ACOTAR, how cute would it be to have a kitty named after the three famous Bat Boys?! UPDATE: Azriel was adopted! But the other two boys still need a home. Please reach out if interested! 

Sweet Tobey was found in a dark alley, where his rescuers usually feed other kitties. Although, he didn’t really care about eating but lovingly rubbed against her legs, weaving in and out while purring. He followed his rescuer around asking for lots of pets and love. Tobey was as friendly as can be; he was begging to be saved and so he was. Tobey’s transition from outdoors to indoors was very smooth. You could just tell that he was an indoor kitty who was struggling and doing his best to survive out in the cold world. He made himself at home from the first day and he now enjoys getting all his foster’s attention, sitting on her lap and curling up on the couch for naps. If you’re looking for a gold star cuddler, look no further than Tobey! He will most definitely be next to you at all times and ask for cheek scratches. Pet him at the base of the skull or his left cheek, and he’s all yours. He is a chatty cat, so you’ll never be bored, plus he's very playful and loves catnip!
