Sunbeam

Max

Max is a new foster kitten who has quickly stolen our hearts. This affectionate boy loves being pet, snuggled, and doted on. He’s incredibly easy to handle—he allows ear cleanings, nail trims, and even takes his medicine, like dewormer, with no fuss. Max also enjoys playtime and gets along wonderfully with his siblings. He’s gentle, playful, and has a calm, friendly nature that makes him a joy to be around.

Iris

Iris may be small, but she’s already full of personality. This precious little kitten is growing stronger and more playful by the day and will be ready to join her forever family in just a few short weeks.

Zohran & Mira

Zohran (the little male with the dark nose) and Mira (the female with the spotted nose) are an adorable sibling duo with big personalities!

Zohran, or "Zo" for short, is the braver of the two—friendly, curious, and already starting to trust his human friends. Mira is a bit sassier and still warming up, but we’re hopeful her sweet side will shine through soon with a little patience and love.

These two are absolutely hilarious to watch—they play like tiny flying monkeys, leaping and flinging themselves around their space with wild abandon. It’s pure entertainment every day!

Suni

Meet Suni — the loving mother of the now-adopted “cheese kittens” (Colby, Jack, Ricotta, and Gouda). After several failed attempts to trap her, Suni was finally brought to safety in May. Rather than being released right away, her rescuer decided to take the time to socialize her, as she never seemed truly feral. After just a month of gentle care, Suni has blossomed and is now ready to find her forever home.

Suni is a shy girl at first, but with a little patience (and some tasty treats), she warms up and begins to seek out affection — gently rubbing her head against your legs and arms. She enjoys peaceful naps either solo by the window or curled up near her person at the foot of the bed. One of her favorite pastimes is bird-watching from the window, daydreaming about chasing pigeons. When she's not lounging, Suni loves batting around plush mice or leaping into the air after a string wand.

Sweet, calm, and quietly affectionate, Suni is ready to bring warmth and companionship to a home that will give her the time and love she deserves. Whoever adopts her will be incredibly lucky to have such a gentle soul.

Cosmo & Orion

From Warehouse Warriors to Snuggle Stars

Cosmo & Orion were rescued from a warehouse in North Bergen during a TNR project. When first found, they were tiny, weak, and suffering from an upper respiratory infection. Thanks to dedicated care in their foster home, they made a full recovery—and after weeks of trying, their mom was finally trapped and safely TNR’d as well.

Socialization has been progressing slowly but steadily for these two special boys. They’re still a bit wary of being picked up or touched, but their curiosity is blossoming. When someone enters their space, they’ll cautiously peek out to observe, inching a little closer each day. Orion is the more timid of the pair but is beginning to grow more comfortable with gentle touch. Cosmo isn’t quite ready to be handled and will let out a little growl to express his boundaries—but it’s all sound and no swipes.

Despite their shyness, they’re very quiet and sweet-natured. They don’t cry for food, but they both let out the softest, sweetest meows when meals are being prepared. Cosmo has a big appetite and often finishes his food with gusto—sometimes a bit too quickly, as he’ll try to sneak a bite of Orion’s bowl! Orion, for his part, has developed a taste for the finer things and prefers high-end kitten food.

Lately, they’ve begun to cautiously engage in play with their foster, though most of their zoomies and wrestling matches still happen when they think no one’s watching. Their progress may be gradual, but it’s full of potential—and with a patient, loving adopter, these bonded brothers are sure to blossom into loyal companions.

Princess

True to her name, Princess enjoys affection on her terms. She’ll often greet you at the door with sweet meows and request a few head rubs, but she mostly prefers to keep to herself throughout the day. That said, she has a soft spot for cuddling and loves to curl up on your lap when she’s in the mood.

She would thrive best as the only pet in a calm, loving home where she can be the center of attention without competition. If you’re looking for a quiet, low-maintenance companion with occasional bursts of affection, Princess might be your perfect match.

Taco & Bell

Taco (tabby boy) and Bell (black-and-white girl) are two adorable, curious kittens who bring double the love and double the fun. These bonded siblings are full of playful energy and constant purrs—the moment you pick them up, the motors start running!

Taco is a total cuddlebug who melts in your arms and adores being held. Bell is the mischievous one, always ready to pounce and play, but just as affectionate. Both are friendly, potty trained, and have the cutest habit of zipping around like tiny jumping beans. They’re social butterflies and love human attention.

What makes them extra special? Their bond is unbreakable. If one disappears, the other immediately sounds the alarm. They’re truly happiest side by side and must be adopted together.

Lolly

Lolly is a gentle, sweet-natured girl who absolutely adores being close to her brother, Luigi. She has a calm demeanor but loves to play when the mood strikes — especially if there’s a cozy blanket or a dangling toy involved. Lolly thrives in a home where she can feel safe and loved, and her bond with Luigi is truly heartwarming. Lolly must be adopted together with her brother Luigi, as they are a bonded pair who bring out the best in each other (see below for Luigi).

Luigi

Luigi is an affectionate and playful boy who brings a spark of fun wherever he goes. Whether he’s chasing after toys or curling up next to his sister Lolly for a nap, his sweet personality always shines through. Luigi is closely bonded with Lolly, and they do everything together — eat, sleep, and play. Luigi must be adopted together with his sister Lolly, as they are a bonded pair who rely on one another for comfort and companionship (see above for Lolly).

Zoey

Zoey was rescued in January from the streets of North Bergen. Her dedicated feeder brought her home in hopes of socializing her, and with time, Zoey has shown just how gentle and sweet she truly is. She’s still shy and takes a little while to warm up, but once she feels safe, her soft and loving nature begins to shine through. She is about one years old.

Her rescuer had planned to keep her, but due to an upcoming move, Zoey is now looking for a new family to give her the patient and caring home she deserves.

If you’re someone who understands that some cats just need a little extra time and love, Zoey may be the perfect match.

Whiskers

Whiskers is friendly and social—she’ll often greet you with a chirp or a gentle head-boop. She’s also quite the talker and always has something to say, making her an excellent little companion for those who enjoy a chatty cat. Curious and playful, she enjoys exploring her space, batting at toys, and bird-watching from the windowsill. When she’s not on the move, she transforms into a total cuddlebug who melts into your lap for pets and brushing.

Whiskers would thrive as the only cat in the home, where she can reign as your one-and-only queen. She’s a perfect match for someone seeking a loyal, affectionate companion to share quiet evenings and warm laps. Found as a stray, this sweet girl has come a long way—and now she’s ready for the comfort and love of a home to call her own.

Fluffy

Fluffy is a 6-month-old kitten with a curious nature and a shy temperament. She was rescued alongside her siblings at 3 months old and has been slowly learning to trust and enjoy the comforts of indoor life.

While Fluffy is playful and enjoys engaging with toys and other cats, she’s still cautious around people and needs time to feel safe. With patience and kindness, she will continue to blossom and show her sweet, affectionate side.

Fluffy would thrive in a calm home with someone who understands that love and trust take time. She’s fully vetted, spayed, and up to date on vaccines—ready to begin the next chapter of her life with a family who believes in her potential.

Mr. Paws

After surviving life on the streets, Mr. Paws is finally safe, warm, and learning what it means to be loved. I found him outside in need of urgent vet care, and since then he’s been recovering beautifully indoors. A previous eye injury gives him a unique little squint that we love so much. He’s around 2 years old, healthy, neutered, and ready for a new chapter!

Mr. Paws is an incredibly affectionate polydactyl (extra toes!) — he loves head scratches, curling up near you, and following you from room to room. His purrfect home has must enjoy lap cat activity, it is a requirement with him, since he loves coming up and being able to sit on your lap and receive pets.

He would thrive in a calm home with someone who understands cat body language and has experience with shy or sensitive cats. No small kids, but a mellow cat companion could be okay with the right introduction.

If you're looking for a loyal companion with a big heart, extra toes, and even bigger potential, Mr. Paws might be your guy!

Cloudy

Cloudy was originally TNR’d as part of our community cat efforts, but this sweet grey boy has shown us he’s got so much love to give—and he’s learning to trust humans all over again.

While a little shy at first, Cloudy is extremely food motivated and warms up quickly when treats are involved! He’s calm, gentle, and has the potential to blossom in a quiet, patient home where he can feel safe and loved.

Cloudy is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but don’t let that scare you—FIV+ cats can live long, happy lives and absolutely coexist with other cats. FIV is only spread through deep bite wounds, and since Cloudy has no teeth, he cannot transmit the virus to others. That means he can safely be part of a multi-cat household!

He’s already been through so much and deserves a soft place to land. Could you be the one to show Cloudy the love he’s been waiting for?

Margot

Sweet Margot was found by an Amazon delivery driver (last 2 pics) digging through the trash and with all the signs of having recently given birth. This poor mama was starving and doing whatever she could to keep producing milk to keep her kittens healthy. After confirming that she was done lactating, we scooped her up and got her into a foster home where she has been eating lots of chicken and making friends with kittens.

Margot is extremely sweet, loves pets and is quite friendly with other cats. She is estimated to be around 2 years old, which is the perfect age with the energy of a kitten but all the health and consistency of an adult.

Abby

Abby is a gentle, low-key tabby who’s all about love, comfort, and cozy vibes. She was sadly left behind in a cardboard box when her previous owners moved away, but she hasn’t let that stop her from being affectionate, trusting, and ready for a fresh start with the right family.

Abby is incredibly submissive and easygoing—she gets along wonderfully with children and loves soaking up attention. She’s the kind of cat who will curl up in a sunbeam, quietly watch the birds out the window, and happily snuggle up for nap time. She’s also confident and curious, wasting no time exploring her surroundings and making herself at home. Within a few days, she’ll be jumping onto the bed to nap right beside you.
